Is the weather in China beautiful?

Has invited:
Well depends where you go and also what you consider a beautiful weather.
I can speak as someone that come from a Mediterranean climate and have been in South and central China.
First pollution:
There is a pollution problem, mostly in my experience in winter, usually in north and central China (from inland to coast). Sometimes the gaze is thick . The South is less exposed and in cities like Shenzhen you may see even stars.
The weather in central and South China is humid, always, in summer more than winter but still humid. It rains often and the you cannot see the Sun too often. I wouldn't call It a good weather.
To give an idea of the difference consider that my wife is Chinese and the first day she came in Italy in summer she passed the whole day taking pictures of the sky and commenting "it's so blue!".
